Linda and Clarence's Wedding

Boy, do I look orange in that picture above. 7th of May. That's Barnabas (red floral shirt), his wife and child. May's wearing a dress she just bought a few days prior at a small shop at Tan Quee Lan St. And the hosts, right there in the middle of us, of course.

Anyways, it was indeed a very interesting evening; firstly, being my first ever outdoor wedding event. Secondly, I've never been in the midst of so many church elders in a private function (it was almost like a mini church service going on there). Thirdly, I've never seen a more furry wedding dress. Fourthly, I've never enjoy such a view during such an occasion (the sunset, although blocked primarily from the rain clouds, the light bounced right off the waters anyway). Fifthly, the rain was nothing more than a light drizzling, almost over-romanticising the whole event. Lastly, but not the least, for outdoor catering, the food was indeed very good! Everything was fresh (ooh those juicy prawns), the fish was not too overdone (fish being the toughest to time and prepare).

Oh yes, I've never had a sermon preached to me during a wedding dinner. What more, in Hokkien, courtesy of Pastor Mark. Simply brilliant! :)
